Ian Fusco-Fagg
Ian is a developer of creative and custom digital solutions, from websites to databases, with a firm grounding in graphic design.
Ian started life as a classically-trained designer working on international and global campaigns for leading London agencies – but with a great interest in the fast-emerging technologies that have transformed the industry and the wider creative world. He moved from being the go-to inhouse expert on digital design, to transforming London creative agencies from analogue to digital, to producing some of the first digital graphics for TV and developing ground-breaking 3-D animation systems.
Since those early days he has shaped solutions for a wide range of clients such as architects, art galleries, charities, film production companies, lawyers, property developers, schools and universities. He has also brought his creative and technical expertise together for more unusual projects – for example equine biographies for the Maktoum family’s famous Godolphin racing stables and developing the world’s most comprehensive, searchable digital index of Persian poetry and music.
Most of Ian’s work is now on creating websites and customised internet applications. Projects run across the spectrum from building powerful backend systems, working with software architecture and scripting languages; to developing sophisticated frontend solutions that make them simple and intuitive to access and use. In all of his work Ian’s watchwords are design, detail and usability.
