Oli Griffiths
Oli is a Procter & Gamble trained marketer and analyst who designs, sets up, runs and evaluates multi-stakeholder initiatives in the UK and globally .
These have ranged from multi-million pound programmes that have run for many years, aimed at delivering physical change on the ground or deeply influencing opinion; to tactical projects aimed at creating and delivering research or reports with real impact; to practical building and technical development projects.
Whilst these have varied widely in scope, geography and the desired outcome their common factor is the need to establish and maintain lasting relationships. These are often with and between groups that are unused to cooperation, such as direct and indirect competitors, and industry and civil society. Project clients have included AstraZeneca, the BBC and the hydropower industry among many others.
Oli’s particular areas of interest are health, energy, air quality and sustainability although projects have ranged much more widely. He is equally at home with communication techniques as he is with science and technology – a key skill being the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex issues and positions clearly and effectively. This helps participants to move forward amicably and efficiently and deliver better results faster. He runs workshops to help organisations to understand their issues and how they can work better with their own internal and external stakeholders.
Oli set up Powering Partnerships in 1997 (then called Corporate Responsibility Consulting). He has an MSc in Renewable Energy for the Built Environment and is a Chartered Engineer.
